5 Days Mid-Range Migration Safari (December – April)

DAY 1: ARUSHA – LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK SAFARI

In the morning after breakfast your driver guide will be there ready to start you journey toward Lake Manyara National park. The drive will take about 2hours to reach the park, the park is located close to small town of mto wa mbu and as you approaching the gate you will be welcomes by baboon and monkeys who will jumping around. As you continue closer, a fresh natural water spring flowing from Great Rift valley will be one of the best attractions that make the parks as greener with giant trees. The park is home to tree climbing lions, Elephants, giraffes, Zebras, wildebeest, waterbucks, warthogs, Impalas, Gazelles and so many other wildlife. If you are a bird lover, then you are in right place as there are more than 400 species of birds. In the evening you will drive out the park and head to your accommodation in the lodge located outside the park. On your way to the lodge you stop at Lake Manyara Viewpoint to enjoy an incredible view of the lake and its surrounding. Dinner and overnight at Octagon lodge/ Campsite .

DAY 2: LAKE MANYARA AREA – NDUTU NGORONGORO/ NDUTU SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Our day will soon start as we finish the breakfast, you will park everything and start our journey to Serengeti. Today you will start early around 7:30am we will cross the Ngorongoro highland of Karatu town, then cross the Ngorongoro conservation and cross toward South Serengeti to a place known as Ndutu. Ndutu is located between South Serengeti and Ngorongoro, is a place natural rewarded by volcanic soil of which when receive little rain become a major attraction of wildlife such as wildebeest and Zebras in hundreds and thousands of numbers. If luck you may be see wildebeest giving birth to new babies as this is the best time for breading. Other wildlife such as predators are also found in this area as is best for preys. You will proceed with game drive until evening the drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at Turtilis Migration Camp..

DAY 3: SERENGETI SAFARI

Our full day in Serengeti is full of miracles, we will enjoy the wonderful game drive by venturing to various corner of central Serengeti. We will follow the Seronera river which act as heart of the park especially in the central when large number of wildlife depends water from. We will be able to visit hippo pool and see these an incredible animal and we will venture to various kopje where predators like lion and leopard used to chill while hunting. In fact, you will be able to sport leopard, big pride of lions, cheetah, elephants hundred and thousands of Zebras and wildebeest. Rhino also available here but very rare to spot them although, you worry as you will them in Ngorongoro crater easily. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Campsite .

DAY 4: SERENGETI SAFARI – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION SAFARI

Today you will work up early in the morning for an early game drive. You will venture to various places before you head back to the lodge for a heavy breakfast. After breakfast you park and game on route toward the exit gate where you will drive to Ngorongoro crater for an overnight. On the way you can enjoy the visit of incredible Maasai tribe that lives in Ngorongoro in a good bond with wildlife. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino lodge/Simba Campsite.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA TOWN

After breakfast we will descend 600meter down the crater for an incredible game drive. Here you will be surprise with its weather of which in crater rim is cold and clouded while its crater flow is hot and sun with large number of wildlife concentration. Ngorongoro conservation is enriched with Buffaloes, Elephants, wildebeest, Zebras, Hippos, Black Rhino, gazelles, impalas, hyenas, warthogs and so many others. The park also is blessed with birds such as flamingoes and mash eagle and so many other species. In the afternoon you will have lunch at picnic and after lunch you will have game drive on route toward the exit route and finally quit the park drive to Arusha.
